The Egyptian forward joined Blues from Basel for £11million in 2014.

But he managed just two goals in 11 games in his first season at Stamford Bridge, before Jose Mourinho shipped Salah out on loan to Fiorentina.

After impressing for the Viola and Roma, the latter picked him up on a permanent deal for around £12m.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp then shelled out £34.3m in the summer to bring Salah back to the Prem.

And he has looked a snip after taking the top-flight's scoring charts by storm and netting 13 goals in 16 games.

Blues legend Drogba, who spent half a season with Salah, may be able to take some of the credit for the Reds ace's

resurgence.

He explained: "He's unpredictable he can dribble past you easily and he has has got stronger and he can score goals.

"There was time when he was texting me, "I don't score, I don't know why". I said "It is just a matter of time and confidence."

"When you have the confidence everything can happen and you can see now that he is scoring goals."
