NEWCASTLE are in the hunt for German midfield inspiration Dominick Drexler.
Aston Villa and Cardiff City are also keen on the 27-year-old playmaker, who is going great guns with newly-promoted Holstein Kiel in the Bundesliga's second division.
But Toon boss Rafa Benitez leads the chase for Drexler's signature after having him watched several times.
