Everton want Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund in £60million deal when January transfer window opens
Sam Allardyce reportedly targeting ambitious move for the Gabonese striker as Toffees look to head up the table following change in management
EVERTON are reportedly plotting a stunning £60million move for Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
claims Sam Allardyce has made the striker his top target this winter after taking charge at Goodison Park last month.
Aubameyang is highly regarded as one of the deadliest forwards in Europe and is believed to be unhappy in Germany.
Reports claim the Gabon international has had a huge bust-up with a number of Dortmund coaches and players after missing out on a return to AC Milan last summer.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Aubameyang, as have Liverpool.
But it could be Everton who end up pulling off a shock move for the 28-year-old, who is open to playing in the Premier League.
Allardyce will have cash to spend when the window re-opens, and Toffees fans are sure to be salivating at the prospect of seeing Aubameyang in a blue jersey.
Allardyce recently said: “Every club is different and it’s about getting the right players and making sure when the next player we get in is critical for me.

“The next player we get in is Sam Allardyce’s. With all the support of the board and the back-up of the recruitment, I’m not going to go, ‘I want that player. I’ve seen him once and I want that player’.
“I’m not like that. I’m not going to do that.”
