Burnley star Robbie Brady leaves on stretcher in first half against Leicester at King Power Stadium
ROBBIE BRADY left the field on a stretcher in the first half at the King Power Stadium after a challenge from Harry Maguire.
The Burnley ace attempted to dance through the heart of the Leicester back-line, but was thwarted by the Foxes centre-half.
With the score at 1-0 to the home side, Brady looked to get his side back on level terms, but his afternoon was cut short in the 28th minute.
The injury came as a huge blow to Clarets boss Sean Dyche as the Irish international was arguably Burnley's best player on the pitch.
Fans joined together in applause for Brady as he departed the pitch as Scott Arfield replaced him.
Taking to Twitter, Burnley revealed that the ex-Norwich winger had his leg placed in a brace.
In a series of tweets, Burnley said: "27 - Brady clatters into Maguire and injures himself in the process. A stretcher is called for.
"It doesn't look good for Brady, whose leg is being placed in a brace. 0-1.
