SAM ALLARDYCE has wasted no time in getting up to speed at Everton.
The former England boss, and now one of the best paid managers in world football, cruised into the Toffees’ training ground early on Thursday morning in his shiny Merc.
Morale among the group would have been high after Wayne Rooney bagged a historic hat-trick in their 4-0 win over struggling West Ham last night.
And with another clash against Huddersfield at the weekend, Allardyce knows there is no time for celebration.
The 63-year-old hasn’t officially been appointed Everton manager just yet but it is no secret he’ll be in the dugout come Saturday.
He watched his side cruise past the Hammers but knows it’s time to see them in action on the training pitch.
Allardyce knows his expectations are to guide Everton back up the table and will be given money to spend in January.
But his massive wage of £100,000-a-week, more than Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, is likely to increase the pressure on his broad shoulders.

Man of the moment Rooney was not far behind Allardyce after being driven to the Finch Farm training complex in a Range Rover.
His performance, which included a 67-yard goal, was the perfect audition for the watching Allardyce sat in the stands.
But a small section of supporters were left unimpressed with the appointment of big Sam.
One fan even made a banner saying: “I support Everton but not Allardyce.”
