Arsenal plot second Thomas Lemar raid and will offer Monaco less than £90m bid over summer

ARSENAL are plotting a January swoop for wantaway Monaco star Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners are expected to bid below £90million they offered on deadline day, which was snubbed.

Barcelona director Raul Sanllehi to expected leave the Catalan club in January and is looking for a new venture.
Sources in Spain had originally said that Sanllehi was plotting a move to join Manchester City but it now looks like he could detour and is believed to be close to signing on the dotted line at the Emirates.
Yet with the fresh new January bid for Lemar, questions arise about the ongoing problem that remains with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal could now consider taking a fee for Ozil and Sanchez in January to fund the Lemar deal.
The Gunners went in for Lemar late in the window as City bid £60m for Sanchez.

However, the last-minute bid and short notice given to 20-year-old - who was on international duty - saw both deals collapse.
The situation at Monaco has also changed slightly over the last few months as they cannot progress in the Champions League and have not qualified for the Europa League.

Along with that Lemar, has not been on form like he was last season and so Arsenal will use this as an opportunity to swoop in.
Liverpool and Barcelona have also expressed interest in signing the talented midfielder.
Lemar joined Monaco in 2015 from Caen and has been a regular for the France national side.
