Spurs star kept up his solid form in Friday's international friendly, as Cristian Zapata scored Colombia's only goal

TOTTENHAM star Son Heung-Min scored twice as South Korea beat Colombia in Friday's international friendly.

The Spurs ace, 23, kept up his strong form to net both as he beat club team-mate Davinson Sanchez's men at the Suwon World Cup Stadium.

Son scored in the 11th-minute of the game to give his side the lead before doubling the tally on the hour-mark.

Colombian defender Cristian Zapata halved the deficit on 76-minutes but were unable to find the all-important equaliser in Suwon.

Son got the hosts off to a flyer as he collected the ball from a long punt forward from Lee Keung-Ho.

The Tottenham star controlled the ball spun away from his defender and poked the ball past Colombian 'keeper Leandro Castellanos.

Spurs ace Son grabbed South Korea's second as he squirmed the ball past Castellanos - who got a weak hand on the shot.

Zapata gave Colombia hope as he nodded home a tantalising free-kick from Bayern Munich star James Rodriguez.

But ultimately, Son's double was too much for the visitors, as South Korea ran out victorious.

The clash in Suwon was marred somewhat, as Colombia's Edwin Cardona appeared to make a "racist" gesture to a South Korean player.

Prior to that, Son had scored in the 4-1 drubbing of Liverpool and Tottenham's 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.

Spurs are not only now top of their Champions League group - a "Group of Death" including Real Madrid, no less - but they are third in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino's men are level on points with second-placed Manchester United, but face a monumental mission to catch up with league-leading Manchester City.
