GARY CAHILL took a break from England duty on Thursday... to get a haircut at A Star Barbers, just days after Chelsea "banned" the skilled snipper from Cobham.
The Blues gave Ahmed Alsanawi the chop from the club's plush Surrey HQ in a row over "cashing in" on his famous customers.
Club bosses reportedly got annoyed that Alsanawi was taking selfies with his famous clients, getting shirts signed and splashing it all over social media to promote his business.
A Chelsea insider revealed: “It was OK to come and cut hair, but a few people got a bid fed up very quickly when he started treating the place like his own.
“Photos, signed shirts and using the players’ images to promote his own business got too much.
“The players have image rights contracts and the club has sponsors who pay millions of pounds for image rights.
“It was thought he was taking a few too many liberties with his access to them. The training ground was a mess after his visits.
“He even started coming to the training ground the day before a match when really the place is supposed to be in lockdown.

"It was all too much so he had to go.”
While Alsanawi may not be allowed back at Cobham, the club cannot take his own shop - a stone's throw away from the training ground - away.

As he can't come to Chelsea anymore, it would seem Chelsea are still willing to allow players to go to him, with Cahill the first star to be spotted at A Star Barbers since the ban.
The Blues centre-back is expected to line-up for England in Friday night's friendly against Germany.
