Bertrand Traore talks up Manchester United move and Jose Mourinho reunion as ex-Chelsea striker eyes switch
Special One already working with three former Chelsea players in Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku
BERTRAND TRAORE has talked up a shock reunion with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
The now-Lyon star penned his first senior contract during the Special One’s second spell at Stamford Bridge.
And after an explosive start to life in France, Traore is now being linked with a surprise move to Manchester United.
It’s believed Mourinho is looking for his employers to spend even more money after seeing his side fall behind in the title race.
And Traore is refusing to rule out a move to Old Trafford, with Mourinho already working with THREE ex-Chelsea players in Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku.
The 22-year-old told Onze Mundial: “Manchester United? Why not? I will work hard and if opportunities open, why not?”
Reflecting on his time at Chelsea, during which he made just ten league appearances, Traore added: “I fought, I reached the first team.
“But, in Chelsea, for a player from the training centre, it’s almost impossible to impose yourself as a starter.

“And I wanted to be a starter. I’m proud of what I did there before I left.”
It’s not the first time Traore has hit out at Chelsea’s youth policy, saying last month: “Leaving was the best decision for me. There weren’t any guarantees I would play.”
