Antonio Conte takes a tactical decision to drop David Luiz against Manchester United
Andreas Christensen plays instead as Conte says: 'We are conceding many goals so you have to find stability and solidity'
ANTONIO CONTE insists David Luiz was left out of the Chelsea squad for the visit of Manchester United for tactical reasons.
The maverick Brazilian defender was replaced by Andreas Christensen.
He did not even make the bench with 17-year-old Ethan Ampadu being preferred.
Italian boss Conte was adamant there was no issue with Luiz, who started the midweek 3-0 Champions League drubbing by Roma.
He simply said Christensen and Ampadu deserve their opportunities.

"There is Andreas Christensen in good form and we have Ethan Ampadu who is a good, young player at the club.
"We are conceding many goals so you have to find stability and solidity.

"We have to be patient with the team and defend in the right way.
"Manchester United is a really good team. They will want to win, like us.
