West Ham star Mark Noble lays into flop team-mates as he leads crisis talks to help save Slaven Bilic from sack
Boss in serious trouble and has just two games to save his job - starting with Tottenham in the Carabao Cup tonight
WEST HAM captain Mark Noble reportedly gave his team-mates an earful during a training ground meeting this week.
The claims Noble called the get-together following yet another defeat under Slaven Bilic.
It’s been reported that the Croatian has just two games to save his job at the London Stadium.
And Noble apparently decided the time was right to deliver some home truths during a blunt meeting at the Rush Green training ground on Monday.
The gathering is said to have lasted just ten minutes, during which Noble told other players to buck their ideas up and help keep Bilic in a job.
West Ham face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup this evening and know that another defeat will increase the pressure on their under-fire gaffer.
The Hammers have won just two of their nine Premier League games this season.
And an early exit from the first cup tournament of the campaign could see morale hit rock-bottom ahead of Saturday’s visit to Crystal Palace.
'I WON'T QUIT' Slaven Bilic vows not to walk away from West Ham despite calls for his head
But Bilic has vowed not to walk away from the East London side, saying: “[I am] never, never, never walking away. I never walked away in my life.
“It is my job and a job I like to do, especially in a place that I feel is like few other places. You are treated special. It is a great job.”
