Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal set for Premier League punishment for copyright infringement

Spanish defender shared a video of his goal but he broke copyright law in doing so

ARSENAL defender Nacho Monreal is facing a Premier League rap after sharing a video of his goal on social media.

The 31-year-old scored the equaliser in the 5-2 thrashing of Everton on Sunday.

But on Monday morning, he shared a video of his goal on Instagram with the caption: “Good Morning Gunners”.

Monreal has BROKEN strict piracy laws by uploading the video.

The Spaniard, who has played every minute of the season so far for Arsenal, will likely have to remove the video and face a strike against his Instagram account.

The Premier League is currently in the midst of its biggest ever clampdown on piracy and illegal streaming.

Earlier this year, a man was fined £250,000 for attempting to sell Kodi boxes to pubs in the North East, while a judge passed an order that meant Internet Service Providers can block entire servers if they think illegal activity is taking place.

The law states that if found guilty of illegal streaming, individuals can face up to 10 years behind bars.

Monreal was left fuming with Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin after the youngster pushed him over an advertising hoarding.
