Tottenham transfer news: Real Madrid target Harry Kane admits Zinedine Zidane’s praise was a ‘great compliment’
Tottenham striker reveals Bernabeu manager's 'complete player' remark is one 'I Can take in my stride and use it as confidence'
ZINEDINE ZIDANE’S comment to Harry Kane saying he “was the complete player” was a great compliment, admits the Tottenham star.
The Spurs striker was speaking ahead of his side’s crunch clash with Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday.
Kane came face-to-face with Zidane’s Madrid side at the Bernabeu in midweek, helping the North London club to a 1-1 draw in the Champions League.
But although Kane says he was flattered to receive praise from a legend like Zidane, he still believes he can improve a lot more with Tottenham.
He told Sky Sports: "I always feel there is stuff I can improve on, I think I will never stop trying to do that.
"It's a great compliment and one that for me I can take as a positive and take in my stride and use it as confidence.
"For me, I will always try to keep working on stuff I never feel you can always be the best but you can keep working on things and that what I am trying to do."

Kane is well aware of the speculation surrounding his future, but he insists he is only looking forward to succeeding with Spurs.
He continued: "I think it is a compliment that there are rumours as it shows how well we are doing as a team, but from our point of view, we have got a job to here and we just need to focus on that."
Despite having a goalless August, Kane has already found the net 15 times in 15 matches for club and country.
And he is relishing the relentless fixture list as his team continue their drive both domestically and in Europe.
