Nemanja Matic has arrived from Chelsea and formed a potent partnership with France star Pogba in central midfield, which could limit game-time for Herrera.

Herrera started the Super Cup loss to Real Madrid and came on as a late substitute in the Prem win over Swansea before winning his place back in the last two games.

United signed the combative ace from Athletic Bilbao in 2014 for £28.8million.
