Jadon Sancho left Manchester City to sign for Borussia Dortmund

He had been in a bitter dispute with City for weeks, and was refusing to sign a new contract after a bust-up over a pre-season tour snub.

Despite the deal being hastily thrashed out, Etihad chiefs did manage to insert several clauses into it.

The teenager could return to the North West in the future due to the buy-back option.

That means that should Dortmund ever decide to sell the ace, City can discuss terms with him as long as they match any other fee suitors bid for him.
