MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly interested in signing Benfica's 17-year-old teen starlet Umaro Embalo.
The Red Devils were in Portugal on Wednesday night to take onthe giants in the Champions League.
Marcus Rashford's strike ensured that Jose Mourinho's secured a 1-0 victory at the Estadio da Luz to maintain their 100 per cent start in the group stage.
And that win might not be the only thing they come away with after scouts were impressed by the youngster Embalo, according to Press Association Sport.
United's Under-19s fought-out a tough 2-2 draw with their Benfica counterparts earlier in the afternoon.
The chief scout for the Red Devils, Javier Ribalta, was amongst the crowd watching the game that saw Embalo introduced from the bench on 65 minutes.
Although he did not get much of a chance to shine yesterday, PA claims that the 17-year-old is being closely monitored by the Old Trafford side.
But the Premier League high-flyers will face a fight to bring him to England.
