MANCHESTER CITY are set to pull the plug on England Under-20 star Isaac Buckley-Ricketts’ loan move to Dutch side FC Twente.
The striker, 19, went to Holland on a season-long loan in the summer.
But he has not played as much as he or Etihad chiefs would have liked.
And it means City are set to review the move in January and possibly find Buckley-Ricketts a club in the Championship.
Struggling Bolton are very keen to snap up the versatile wide man.
The Trotters believe he would add pace and threat to their attack and hope they might be able to seal a deal in the New Year.
Buckley-Ricketts is seen as a future first team player at City.
They picked Twente ahead of rival bidders because they thought he would be playing at a top level.
Twente play in the Eredivisie - the top league in Holland where they finished seventh last season.
They were crowned champions in the 2009–10 season under the management of former England boss Steve McClaren - their first title for 45 years.

Buckley-Ricketts, meanwhile, is a pacy forward who signed for professional terms with City at the age of 13.
He was part of this summer's all-conquering England Under 20s squad.
They won the European Championships in Georgia this summer - for the first time in their history.
