AC Milan, Real Madrid and Brazil legend Kaka plotting retirement and following Zinedine Zidane into management
BRAZILIAN superstar Kaka has revealed he is considering hanging up his boots due to not feeling “joy” on the pitch anymore.
The 35-year-old is currently winding-down his illustrious career in America at MLS-side Orlando City.
But the end may be coming sooner than many thought for the 2002 World Cup winner.
Discussing his future to Globoesporte, he confessed: “I don’t feel joy in playing football anymore, as I feel pain every time I finish a match.
“My body doesn’t deal with it very well now and at the age of 35 it is very difficult to recover every time.”
Kaka has been one of the greatest players of his generation and enjoyed a trophy-laden time in Europe during his heyday.
After leaving Sao Paulo in 2003, he became a huge hit in his two spells at Italian side AC Milan with a successful four-year stint at Real Madrid sandwiched inbetween.
He has lifted the La Liga and Serie A title and helped Milan to Champions League glory in 2007.
Luckily for his fans, Kaka has revealed he would like to continue in the game.
And he is now hoping to follow another former Madrid great’s path to success in the dug-out.

He added: “I would love to have a career like Zinedine Zidane.
“He stopped playing, took some time, realised he liked coaching and started working in the youth academy.
“I could follow a similar path.”
