Alli’s behaviour did little to win over the home fans or the neutrals, with Spurs always in complete control of the match.

And after receiving a one-match international ban for swearing during a game, the ace is now facing more questions over his discipline.

Alli’s poor showing was highlighted even further by another masterclass from team-mate Harry Kane.

And boss Pochettino feels the youngster must learn from his mistakes as they’re currently showing Spurs in a bad light.

He said: “I didn’t see it. But if it was like this then he needs to learn. He must learn.

“This type of action doesn’t help him, doesn’t help the team and doesn’t help football.

“We have been talking in the last few years about fair play, to be honest. I think he is improving a lot and learning but still he must learn.”

But Tottenham fans are sure to continue with their celebrations after racking up yet another impressive win.

Kane has rediscovered his goal-scoring boots after a dry August and the team are sure to be feeling confident about their chances of mounting another serious title challenge.

“The boffins at Sun Bets tell me there has never been a Premier League game end 0-0 between these sides too so expect goals.

“I’m going to have to go with Jurgen Klopp’s men as on paper they are the much better side.

“12/1 on a 3-1 away win is very tempting.”
