Edinson Cavani talks for first time since Neymar bust-up and insists players need to stick together

Says Uruguyan ace: 'On the pitch we have to all work together... as if we're a family to go towards the same objective'

EDINSON CAVANI insists that Paris Saint-Germain must remain a "family" on the pitch.

His plea comes despite recent bad blood between the Uruguayan and record signing £198million Neymar.

The two superstars clashed over the taking of a penalty against Lyon.

Cavani - the club's long-time penalty taker - fluffed the kick, prompting suggestions of a rift between the Brazilian and PSG players.

But speaking after the 3-0 thrashing of Bayern Munich in Wednesday's Champions League clash, Cavani addressed tghe issue for the first time.

And he was adamant the atmosphere at the club is positive.
