Championship strugglers Bolton have been trolled on social media by their local police

THINGS have gone from bad to worse for poor Bolton – even the local Police are sticking the boot in on social media about their poor start to the season.
The Trotters looking to establish themselves back in the Championship are bottom of the pile and still searching for their first win of the campaign.

Boss Phil Parkinson watched on as his side lost at home to Brentford, making it six straight league defeats.
And to rub salt in their wounds, the local Motorway Police took to twitter to wish travellers a safe journey home and to warn them about M6 speed cameras working, and at the same time took a swipe at the Trotters.
North West Motorway Police said on twitter: “Have a safe journey but remember the speed cameras on the M6 are working.
“So don’t speed or you’ll end up with more points than Bolton.”
Generally everyone who reacted to the twee saw the funny side of it with one response commenting on how quick witted the Police were.

Yoann Barbet opened the scoring for the Bees in the first half and Nico Yennaris and Ollie Watkins made the points safe for the Londoners who registered their first league win of the season.
Bolton will look to bounce back on Tuesday with a trip eight place Bristol City who are unbeaten in nine games.
