Neymar and Cavani put their penalty-kick bust-up behind them during PSG training

South American superstars were at loggerheads after their very public spat, but looked on much better terms on Thursday as they trained side-by-side ahead of Saturday's Montpellier game

NEYMAR and Edinson Cavani appear to have put their penalty-kick bust-up behind them as they trained side-by-side at Paris Saint-Germain training on Thursday.

The South American superstars fell-out in spectacular fashion during Sunday's 2-0 win over Lyon.

Cavani and Neymar both jostled for the right to take a spot-kick with the score at 1-0... with the Brazilian furious that his team-mate won the battle, took the kick and missed.

Both players have reported being upset at not being the No1 man at their club - with Neymar leaving Barcelona over Lionel Messi and Cavani being frustrated at being behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic for four years.

Reports this week have suggested Neymar is even willing to go as far as begging PSG bosses to SELL Cavani over the bust-up.

A host of European giants including Juventus, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and even Everton are keeping tabs on the Uruguayan's situation.

But if Thursday's pictures are anything to go by, the pair are back on the same page again.

PSG take on Montpellier on Saturday and the Ligue 1 attacking pair were happy to work in tandem in the session.

Neymar - visibly feeling the cold, wearing a grey woolly hat - and Cavani were put through a series of drills as they put their rift behind them.

The pair's animosity wasn't helped by Neymar's international team-mate Dani Alves, who withheld the ball from Cavani in the Lyon game over a free-kick.

Instead he gifted the ball to the Samba star, much to Cavani's frustration.

Neymar later unfollowed the Uruguayan on Instagram - only fanning the flames of the tempestuous relationship.

It's worth remembering that prior to all the aggression, the duo - along with new-boy Kylian Mbappe had looked to take Europe by storm.

The trio ran Celtic ragged in their Champions League tie, as they put five past the Scottish champions away from home.

If Cavani and Neymar can maintain their newfound friendship, it's not unrealistic to believe PSG could be heading for league - and maybe European - glory in 2017-18.

Neymar makes the grade, but did you know Harry Kane is the ONLY English player in the world's top 55? Check out the full list of stars now...
