MANCHESTER UNITED star Ander Herrera will reject Barcelona's interest and commit his future to the club before December.
His current deal at Old Trafford expires next year with the Spanish giants plotting a potential move to bring the midfielder back to his homeland.
Although Herrera is in a relaxed mood and in no rush to sign on the dotted line, claim he will sign the contract within the next two months.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has already made it clear that he wants to trigger the option of an additional year to the former Bilbao ace's current deal.
But now Herrera is set to receive improved terms after an excellent first year under Mourinho.
He is believed to be "very happy" with life in the North West - despite starting just two of United's opening seven matches.
He came off the bench on Sunday as the Reds thumped Everton 4-0 with a late onslaught - and his manager was full of praise for his impact.

Mourinho said: "I think Ander was important. He gave us the stability that we were losing a little bit and then was only possible, in my view, 1-0 or 2-0.
"I never thought in the last 15 or 20 minutes it could be 1-1.
"The 2-0 come and after that the third and fourth goals are just a consequence of a team that was sad and another team that was happy, for me the third and fourth goal were a little bit out of context in the game."
Herrera is delighted with the progress in his game under Mourinho and won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award last season.
