Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Cheshire mansion is on the market for £5m – featuring chandeliers in the kitchen and an outdoor bar
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC'S stunning old mansion has been put up for sale for £5million - complete with pool and table tennis tables.
Ibrahimovic splashed out £32,000-a-month to rent the sprawling six-bedroom property during his first season playing for Manchester United.
But the striker will not be moving back to the luxury pad as he returns to United this season after the owners put it on the market.
The gated detached house in the Cheshire countryside has been decorated to exacting standards and boasts the height of luxury facilities.
Each of the six bedrooms is en-suite, and the pad is ideal for entertaining with a huge open-plan kitchen.
The lower ground floor also houses a state-of-the-art gymnasium, along with a private wine cellar.
And guests are able to relax in a bar area or games room indoors, or outside in the huge covered barbecue area.
Ibrahimovic is hoping to be back in action for United towards the end of October as he continues his return from the knee injury suffered in April.
He decided to sign a contract with United until the end of the season ahead of moving to MLS in America because he felt he had unfinished business at Old Trafford.
United boss Jose Mourinho believes he will provide the ideal boost to his squad's goalscoring capabilities when he does return to full match action.
But he has told the 35-year-old not to push himself too hard to rush back soon and risk injuring himself.
Ibrahimovic has been included in United's Champions League squad for the group stages before Christmas, though it will be a push for him to be involved before the knock-out stages.
But Mourinho has planned to have the forward back fully available for selection from the beginning of January, so is not putting any pressure on Ibrahimovic to come back any quicker.
The former Barcelona and Inter Milan star has lost none of his confidence throughout his lay-off, and claimed last week he will be better than ever when he returns.
