Catalan club are still desperate to land both stars but will reportedly not be able to do so in the same transfer window
BARCELONA will reportedly halt their chase of Philippe Coutinho until next summer but will renew their interest in Jean Michael Seri in January.

But according to the , that could be good news for Liverpool as they will go back on for the Ivorian in the New Year.
And that will mean their chase of Coutinho will have to wait until the end of this season.
Barca had agreed terms with the Ligue 1 side over Seri’s transfer, but the move suddenly fell through.
That was reportedly down to the Catalan club wanting to throw everything at their efforts to get Coutinho.
And, as neither of the two arrived, insist they will renew their interest in the “new Xavi” once the winter window opens in January.
But Barca are unlikely to go after both Seri and Coutinho in the same transfer window due to financing both.
