Yaya Toure’s agent has hit out at Pep Guardiola over his lack of playing time

He did not even make the bench against Liverpool last weekend, with Guardiola claiming the player “knows the reason why”.

And the Spaniard further claimed there are “sporting reasons” behind Toure’s exile.

The Premier League winner will not feature in the Champions League clash against Feyenoord tonight.

.

However, Toure’s agent Dimitry Seluk claimed his man’s lack of game time was all down to the choices of the Etihad manager.

Seluk tweeted: “Yaya is in great shape. He will prove it. He is fit to play. It’s up to Guardiola to decide.”

Toure signed a one-year contract extension in June.
