The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss delivered the league title last year, the fifth straight year the club have been crowned German champions.

That has led to questions over whether club bosses are totally happy with Ancelotti, and 30-year-old Nagelsmann has emerged as the man they are keeping an eye on to replace him if he did leave.

Nagelsmann led Hoffenheim to a 2-0 win over Bayern last weekend - and he has added further to the talk of a move in a revealing interview given to .

He said: "FC Bayern is playing a bigger role in my dreams. I lived in Munich for many years.

"My wife and my child are going to Munich soon. We build a house there. We have a family connection there. This is our home.
