Sheffield Wednesday 3 Nottingham Forest 1: Gary Murphy, Steven Fletcher and Kieran Lee swamp poor Forest
Wednesday chalk up a sixth successive win over their Championship rivals
SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY beat Forest for the sixth time in a row thanks to goals from Gary Hooper, Steven Fletcher and Kieran Lee.
The visitors had a first-half wonder goal from Ben Osborne to call their own - but little else.
Wednesday took the lead after 22 minutes when Hooper seized on a cracking through ball from Barry Bannan.
The former Norwich striker coolly turned and fired past Forest keeper Jordan Smith with a decent finish.
Prior to that Scottish international Fletcher had sent a header high over the top from Adam Reach's whipped cross.
The Owls' advantage didn't last long - six minutes, in fact.
And Forest equalised with a wonderful goal from Osborne.
Barrie McKay did the spadework, cutting inside and slipping a great reverse pass to Osborne, who still had plenty to do.

But he managed to drive into the box and beat Keiren Westwood on his near post.
A marvellous save from Smith keep Ross Wallace at bay moments later to keep the game even-steven for the first half.
Fletcher thought he had put Wednesday ahead only for Tendayi Darikwa to head out from under the bar.
But the ex-Wolves hitman did beat Jordan in the 62nd minute to put the home side ahead.
The move saw Fletcher make an impish run to get between Joe Worrall and Darikwa and power in Wallace's corner.
Eight minutes Lee grabbed the third when the ball was worked wide to Jack Hunt.
