MANCHESTER UNITED hero Nani has flown in to join Lazio from Valencia in a £13.8million deal.
The Portuguese winger will be taking his four Premier League winner’s medals and his Champions League gold to the Italian club.
The 30-year-old only spent one season in Spain with 25 La Liga appearances during his short stint, picking up their player-of-the-season award.
After clinching the Euro 2016 title with Portugal, Nani moved to Valencia from Turkish club Fenerbahce where he had spent a single season.
The former Old Trafford ace is earmarked as a replacement for Keita Balde Diao who completed his transfer from Lazio to Monaco this week.
After his shock Euro 2016 triumph the speedster opened up on his relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson during their trophy-filled time together.
Nani said: “United gave me all that I have in this life.
“I see [Sir Alex Ferguson] like a father, angry and shouting at you one minute but in the next, patting his hand on your head and saying: ‘Come on, son.’

“It was hard to deal with at first, because you don’t know him and his strong ways but when you know him, you learn it is for your benefit.
“If today I have a strong mentality, it’s a lot to do with him.
“Maybe I could have played more games but the routine at that club, especially under Ferguson, was to alternate the players.
“Everyone was part of the team. I played in big games and I played in not so big games.
“I played in finals. I had fantastic performances and I had not so great performances. This is football.”
