West Ham look to borrow Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere if William Carvalho deal falls through
England midfielder is desperate to kick-start his career and could be set for a dramatic deadline day move across London
ARSENAL midfielder Jack Wilshere is being lined up for a dramatic deadline day switch to West Ham.
The 25-year-old has a year left on his contract and is desperate to kick-start his career as the Hammers consider offering him a Premier League lifeline.
However, the Emirates star will be made to sweat it out on the final day of the transfer window.
The East Londoners are looking to rekindle their chase for Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho.
The Portuguese international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for it seems an eternity.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is keen to add another quality midfielder to his ranks – but the club are refusing to meet the Portuguese giants' £40million price tag.
If the West Ham hierarchy struggle to push through a last-minute deal for Carvalho, they will turn their attention to Wilshere.
SunSport have been told Bilic will take the Arsenal man on a season-long loan, and then assess options again as Wilshere could be a free agent at the end of the season.

The England international has so far not agreed to extend his stay in North London beyond next summer.
Wilshere spent last season on-loan at Bournemouth and has only returned to fitness this month after breaking his leg last season.
But his road back to fitness has been halted after his sending for Arsenal Under-23s against Manchester City last week.
