Arsenal transfer news: West Brom boss Tony Pulis to offer Gunners £13million for Kieran Gibbs
The 27-year-old left-back has fell down the pecking order under Arsene Wenger, and looks set for a move away from the Emirates
WEST BROM boss Tony Pulis is going back in for Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs with a £13million offer.
Pulis returned to the Gunners reserve left-back after Tottenham’s Kevin Wimmer opted to join Stoke.
Gibbs, 27, spoke with the Baggies earlier in the transfer window and is also a target for Watford.
But Albion are now expected to come up with a better package.
Pulis ruled out a move for Gibbs earlier on in the summer, but is ready to launch a fresh bid.
This was after Arsenal knocked back an offer of £10m for the England international.
The Gunners had been holding out for £15m, but with the end of the window looming, they have dropped their asking price.
Gibbs made just 11 Premier League appearances last season as Nacho Monreal remained the first choice left-back under Arsene Wenger.
