LIVERPOOL have had a £65million bid rejected by Monaco for Thomas Lemar.
According to , the Ligue 1 champions will continue to stand firm as they look to cling onto their star man beyond this transfer window.
Arsenal have been chasing the France international all summer.
Arsene Wenger has had three offers rejected for his services including a £45m bid, with the French boss declaring that any move to bring him in this window is “dead”.
Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim is reluctant to offload any more players having seen the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva already leave the club.
Monaco are also trying to fend off interest for Kylian Mbappe, who looks set to join Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
While it's back to drawing board for Liverpool regarding their pursuit of Lemar, they have confirmed the signing of Naby Keita.
The RB Leipzig star signed for a club-record fee of £48million and he will arrive at Anfield next summer.
