Paulinho debut lasts just two minutes but one Barcelona fan can’t wait to record it on video

A Nou Camp captured Paulinho's debut for Barcelona on video - all two minutes of it.

Tottenham flop Paulinho's £36million move from Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League has hardly caused a stir in the Catalan capital.

Only 2,000 fans - a tiny number by Barcelona standards - turned up for his unveiling.

And last week the club reported they had sold zero shirts in the club shop with the Brazilian's name on.

So the man no one wanted came to kick his first ball in anger for the Spanish giants against Deportivo Alaves this weekend.

And if the fans video was designed deliberately to make Paulinho look bad, then it worked…

For he ended up creating an utterly pointless work of art showing Paulinho’s ‘highlights’ from the 2-0 away win.

With just two minutes of normal time left and Barca 2-0 to the good thanks to Lionel Messi's double, Paulinho replaced the legendary Andres Iniesta.

Other fans were quick to take the mickey on Twitter.

But the 29-year-old , a severe disappointment during his two-year stint at Spurs, has heard a lot of it before.

And few think he has the quality to play alongside Messi and co. at the Camp Nou.

But the midfielder is determined to change people's opinon of him.

He said: ""Everything I can do I can do it by playing, so I will change the opinion of the people.

"The best way to respond is on the field, helping my team-mates, striving for victories.

"I am very mature and I do not think about [criticism], only about helping Barcelona win titles."
