But, unlike last season, the comeback started after just 14 minutes later when Dybala fired in from Pjanic's cross.
And the Argentine levelled proceedings from the spot in first-half stoppage time — after the referee once again requested assistance from the VAR system.
Juventus came out for the second half like a team who knew they were going to complete a comeback.
And they didn't have to wait too long for third.
Cuadrado, who had endured a frustrating first half, shows sublime control to fire past Mattia Perin on 62 minutes.
Dybala completed his hat-trick with a breakaway third in stoppage time, before Gianluca Lapadula contributed an early contender for miss when heading over from four yards with an open net at the death.
