Arsenal starlet Alex Iwobi emerges as a shock target for Turkish giants Galatasaray on season-long loan
Reports in Turkey claim Aslanlar sporting director Cenk Ergun is willing to travel to London next week in order to thrash out a deal for Nigerian international
GALATASARAY are reportedly set to make a shock move for Arsenal star Alex Iwobi.
The Turkish giants want the Nigerian on a season-long loan from the Gunners.
in Turkey claim Gala's sporting director Cenk Ergun has already begun talks with Emirates chiefs over the swoop.
And he is willing to travel to London next week in order to finalise the deal.
Iwobi, 21, has only featured for 11 minutes for Arsenal so far this season in the Premier League.
But Arsene Wenger is unlikely to want to lose a member of his squad after their mixed start to the campaign.
The winger did feature for 67 minutes as the Gunners defeated Chelsea on penalties in the Community Shield earlier this month at Wembley.
And although he is not a guaranteed starter, Iwobi will be confident that he will not just be left on the bench to stagnate for the North London outfit.
