Liverpool ‘ready to pounce for out of favour Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches’
Portuguese ace could be heading to Anfield on season-long loan after struggling to re-capture sizzling form showed at Euro 2016
LIVERPOOL are keen on Bayern Munich's young midfielder Renato Sanches, according to reports.
And German publication Kicker claims that Bayern might be ready to strike a deal for a season-long loan.
Sanches, 20, moved to Bayern in a £30million-plus deal last summer from Benfica.
He did well at Euro 2016 and attracted the interest of many European clubs.
But unhappily he struggled to make an impression in his first season in Munich.
Sanches appeared just 17 appearances in all competitions and failed to nail down a regular place in midfield.
None of which, though, will perturb Liverpool.
The Reds missed out on top target Naby Keita this summer and see Sanches as an ideal alternative.

Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan also showed interest earlier this summer only for Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti to announce the youngster was staying put.
That might be about to change...
Meanwhile, under pressure Barcelona officials are expected to try and re-open talks with Liverpool in a last-ditch attempt to get their hands on Philippe Coutinho.
SunSport told you how Barca were lining up a fourth and final £136million bid for the attacker who is still yet to play for the Anfield club this term.
That would make it three bids for the Brazilian playmaker.
Coutinho, too, is so frustrated at the situation that he is considering making his anger felt in a heartfelt public statement.
