Croatian football manager Zdravko Mamic shot in leg in by two masked men ‘assassination attempt’ as he visited father’s grave

FORMER Dinamo Zagreb manager Zdravko Mamic has been shot in the leg in what is being described as an assassination attempt.
The attack happened in a cemetery as the Croat was visiting a local church on the anniversary of his father's death.
Mamic was wounded just above the knee.

Hi condition is not life-threatening — and he was pictured smiling with staff at the local health centre in Zidine.
Mamic still works as an adviser at Dinamo, and the club have released a statement condemning the attack.
It read:"GNK Dinamo was horrified by an armed attack and attempted assassination of Zdravko Mamic’s advisor on Tuesday, August 22, in Tomislavgrad.
"We absolutely condemn the attack."
