LEICESTER CITY will face Sheffield United for the first time since 2011 in the second-leg of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

The last time the two teams played in the League Cup was in the 1969-70 season when Leicester won 2-0.

Leicester City will see their first action in the Carabao Cup this season after being awarded a bye in the first round along with the other Premiership clubs who are not in Europe this season.

The foxes have already had injury struggles this season, but Craig Shakespeare has played down Jamie Vardy's ankle injury he sustained in their win over Brighton on Saturday and he is expected to fit to play.
