Zlatan Ibrahimovic could rejoin Manchester United in next 11 days as Jose Mourinho prepares to have him signed in August
Sweden icon suffered a serious knee injury at the end of last season and his contract at Old Trafford expired while he was recovering
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC could complete his incredible return to Manchester United in the next 11 days, according to reports.
The 35-year-old’s illustrious career was hanging in the balance after a horrible knee injury floored him at the end of last season.
However, the super-human striker has recovered at a rapid rate and claim he could re-sign for Jose Mourinho before the end of August.
The former Ajax and Inter Milan man underwent surgery on his troubled joint straight after the injury and has combined a rigorous rehabilitation campaign with some luxury summer holidays.
The ex-Barcelona man was in Cannes over the weekend – showing no signs of injury – diving off of a luxury yacht into the sea alongside an amazing lookalike.
The Sweden legend scored 17 Premier League goals last season – laughing in the face of doubters who asked if the division was too much for a player of his age to handle.
And Mourinho wants him back in the fold and is interested in offering him a coaching role at Old Trafford when he finally hangs up his shooting boots.
Mourinho said: “We are discussing the possibility of him to stay with us.

“It was very clear from him that what he did last year was not enough for him.
“He wants more football at the highest level so we are having conversations and discussing the possibility of him staying for the second part of the season.
"He is injured, he needs time to recover, and is not ready to play tomorrow.
“It’s not something that’s urgent, it’s not desperate to have it done or not.”
