Gerard Pique reveals he feels ‘inferior’ to Real Madrid for first time since making Barcelona return in 2008 after comprehensive defeat in Spanish Super Cup

GERARD PIQUE has incredibly admitted: “We are inferior to Real Madrid.”
Barcelona were beaten to the La Liga title on the final day of last season by their arch rivals.
And then had to watch Los Blancos become the first side to win back-to-back Champions Leagues in the modern era.
Before the Bernabeu side's superiority was confirmed with a comprehensive 5-1 aggregate victory in the Spanish Super Cup.
And, while Pique insisted last night’s loss wasn’t his most humiliating 90 minutes in football, he had to accept Real Madrid are currently a better team.
He said: “This wasn’t worst night for me — that was Spain against Holland [at the 2014 World Cup].
“Real Madrid were simply better.
“It’s true that, in the last nine or ten years, since I returned to Barcelona, it is the first time I feel their superiority over us.
