Alexis Sanchez ‘in talks’ with PSG after jetting out to France with his girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez and agent
The 28-year-old Chilean star has one year left on his deal with the Gunners, but Arsene Wenger is adamant he will stay at the Emirates
ARSENAL star Alexis Sanchez is currently in France as he enters talks with Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
And the Chilean has fuelled speculation of an imminent switch after posting a tweet with a 'Paris, France' location before deleting it later.
The 28-year-old's future has been one of the talking points all summer, and he is now reportedly in the French capital with his girlfriend and agent.
Journalist Nicolas Hortus revealed the Chilean international spent the night in Paris as he looks for a move to a Champions League club.
He tweeted: "Without confirmation at this time - Alexis Sanchez is reportedly in a large Parisian hotel with his agent and lawyer."
The reports were echoed by another French journalist, as Bertrand Latour tweeted: "Alexis Sanchez will spend the night in Paris. He is accompanied by his companion and his agent to negotiate with the PSG."
Some time after the news broke, trusted sports newspaper L'Equipe confirmed the story, despite Arsene Wenger recently declaring once again he WILL sign a new Arsenal deal.
And eagle-eyed fans noticed that a tweet sent by Sanchez to musician friend Richard Marx clearly stated 'Paris, France' in the location.

And the Chilean only fuelled the flames when he deleted the location later, prompting fans to speculate that he's on his way out of Arsenal.
Sanchez missed his side's epic 4-3 win against Leicester City and will again be out of action against Stoke City next Saturday.
He was in attendance at the Emirates on Friday night to watch his side grab a late winner against the Foxes with his partner Mayte Rodriguez.
The ex-Udinese winger is being chased by Manchester City as well as Unai Emery's side, but he has been offered a new £300,000-a-week deal to stay on with the FA Cup champions.
PSG have already brought in Neymar to Ligue 1 from Barcelona in a world-record transfer fee of £198m, as they look to build a team capable of winning the Champions League.
They are also closing in on the signing of teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe from under the noses of Real Madrid, in a staggering £160m swoop.
Arsenal are willing to risk letting Sanchez walk on a free transfer as he can enter talks with other clubs from the start of January.
He has averaged a goal every two games since arriving in England, netting 72 times in 144 games.
