EVERTON are reportedly set to launch a stunning £22.5million bid for Fiorentina star Nikola Kalinic.
claims the Toffees are determined to bring the striker to Goodison Park this summer.
However, Kalinic has his heart set on a move to AC Milan and will wait to see if he can secure a San Siro switch before considering Ronald Koeman’s offer.
Everton have splashed the cash on a number of top signings ahead of this weekend’s Premier League kick-off after selling Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
Michael Keane and Wayne Rooney are just some of the names to arrive on Merseyside during the window.
But it seems the Toffees are not done yet as they target a new attacker in Kalinic.
The Croatian is held in high regard by Italian football fans after scoring 33 goals in two seasons for Fiorentina.
Kalinic, who spent two seasons at Blackburn Rovers, is also a fully-fledged international and has 14 goals to his name.

However, Everton’s move will have to wait until free-spending AC Milan decide who they want to lead their line in the new Serie A campaign.
The Chinese-owned outfit claim they will sign one of Kalinic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Diego Costa before the window slams shut at the end of the month.
Aubameyang is their preferred choice but Borussia Dortmund are adamant they will not sell him, while Chelsea's Costa is keen to rejoin old side Atletico Madrid.
