Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola enquires about the availability of Barcelona’s Sergio Busquets
Spanish boss enjoyed plenty of success with the holding midfielder during his five-year spell as boss at the Nou Camp

PEP GUARDIOLA has launched an enquiry for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets as he looks to add to his Manchester City squad.
The pair enjoyed incredible success together at the Nou Camp during Guardiola's five-year spell at the Nou Camp - winning 14 trophies.
According to , City have contacted Barca asking about the availability of the 29-year-old.
City are seeking another midfielder after selling Fernando to Galatasaray for £4.7million.
Guardiola voiced an interest in Busquets last summer but a move for the holding midfielder never materialised.
It is expected that City will fail in their pursuit for the Spain international this summer, considering the star's importance in Barca's starting XI and they have already lost a key player this summer in the shape of Neymar.
Manchester United have also been linked with Busquets' Barca teammate Sergi Roberto, with the Red Devils plotting a £36million bid for the versatile star.
Although their pursuit for Roberto is far from straightforward - with Chelsea and Monaco also showing an interest in the 25-year-old.
