Arsene Wenger reveals Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are both doubts ahead of Premier League opener against Leicester
Frenchman revealed it is unlikely the midfield pair are likely to miss their match at the Emirates on Friday evening
ARSENE WENGER said Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are both doubts for Arsenal's Premier League opener against Leicester on Friday evening.
Ozil is suffering from a swollen ankle while Ramsey is struggling with a minor calf problem.
Wenger said Ozil has "little chance to play on Friday night" as he prepares for their league opener against the Foxes.
Wenger compared his side's victory to their FA Cup final win over Chelsea at the end of last season.
He said: "We put ourselves in a difficult position just after half-time, but in the end we produced a performance that we did at the end of last season.
"We were dominating and I just wondered whether we would come back or not, but I think we always looked dangerous."
Arsenal have signed Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac so far this summer and Wenger was impressed by his new arrivals.
The 67-year-old added: "They looked like they adapt very quickly. Lacazette is getting better every week, Sead was very strong last week and when he came on again he played very well."
