"The manager has given Neymar permission to miss training and resolves his future."

The 25-year-old was at the club's Joan Gamper training complex this morning, but he wasn't there to train.

Instead, the Brazil captain said his goodbyes to his former team-mates.

Senior stars at the Nou Camp had grown tired of his antics and demanded he tell them where his future lies.

Neymar flew to China at the start of the week to make an appearance for one of his sponsors.

On the way back to Spain he had a stop-off in Dubai - where the Brazilian held talks with PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi to discuss personal terms.

Previous reports have stated that Neymar will command wages of more than £500,000-a-week.

The Brazilian has apparently grown tired of playing in Lionel Messi's shadow, and wants to lead his own team.

Barca have been linked with both Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho as replacements for the star.

It is also unclear how PSG will beat Financial Fair Play, with the likes of Blaise Matuidi and Angel Di Maria linked with an exit.
