EVERTON have a back-up plan if there pursuit of Gylfi Sigurdsson falls flat - and it's not good news for Arsenal.
With Swansea holding out for £50million for their star player, Ronald Koeman has already looked for alternatives.
And Nice midfielder Jean Seri, believed to be a target of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, could fit the bill.
The Guardian are reporting how Seri is seen as a "back-up option" should Sigurdsson be priced out of a move to Goodison Park.
But the signing won't come easy as Arsenal, as well as Tottenham and Barcelona have all been linked with the Ivory Coast midfielder.
SunSport has previously reported how Arsenal had moved into pole position for Seri.
The Nice midfielder was one of the stars of Ligue 1 last season as his side secured Champions League qualification.
Seri bagged seven goals and nine assists and has been likened to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
