The Chilean has been in a stand-off with Arsene Wenger’s side for months and has now entered the final 12 months of his deal.

Sanchez has been demanding a whopping wage packet of around £300,000-a-week.

Wenger and the North London outfit have been unable to come to a compromise, and it could possibly have been a tactic to engineer a move away this summer.
