Yohan Cabaye set to head back to France with Marseille favourites to take him back to Ligue 1
Crystal Palace midfielder set for a move back across The Channel this summer as Frank De Boer assesses his options
CRYSTAL PALACE midfielder Yohan Cabaye could be heading back to France.
The 31-year-old midfielder was a regular last season but has attracted interest in taking him back to his homeland.
Marseille are among the clubs willing to bring him back after two seasons at Selhurst Park.
And the ex-Paris Saint-Germain star will look at his options to settle back in France for the final part of his career.
Palace boss Frank De Boer has signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea who could cover in central midfield.
De Boer may get some money back on the £10million paid to PSG to get Cabaye to the Premier League.
He has just one year left on his Palace deal but extending his terms looks unlikely this summer.
Cabaye joined Palace in the summer of 2015 and has gone on to make 64 Premier League appearances, scoring nine times.
