West Ham complete £24.5million signing of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke on five-year deal
Hammers announce capture of Austrian attacker with Javier Hernandez set to join him at London Stadium next week
WEST HAM have completed the £24.5million signing of Stoke attacker Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian international has signed a five-year deal worth £130,000-a-week to make the move to the London Stadium.
Arnautovic completed his medical on Friday and visited the Hammers' training ground this morning to pen pen to paper on his contract.
He becomes the second player West Ham have signed in a week, following the capture of Joe Hart from Manchester City.
And he will be followed to East London by former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez after the club agreed a £16m deal with Bayer Leverkusen.
Hernandez will undergo a medical on Monday and if all goes well will be unveiled as a Hammers player the following day.
Arnaoutovic said: “It feels special to me to be a West Ham player.
“Everyone knows that West Ham is a big Club, with big history and I’m happy to be a part of it now. I can’t wait to get started.

“I played against West Ham at the old stadium – I didn’t play last year at the new stadium because I was suspended – but I came to the game and I can only say it is a massive Club with a lot of fans.
“They are crazy for football and this is what I like. The Club is still growing, getting better and better and that’s why I’m here.”
Arnautovic become's West Ham's record signing as manager Slaven Bilic makes drastic changes to a squad that struggled against relegation for much of the last campaign.
With Pablo Zabaleta snapped up on a free transfer from Manchester City earlier in the summer, Bilic is on the verge of signing his four biggest targets of the close season.
