Arsenal 0 Chelsea 3: Michy Batshuayi gives Blues boss Antonio Conte timely reminder of his skills as bags brace in thrashing
MICHY BATSHUAYI fired out a warning to Alvaro Morata that he will fight for his Chelsea place.
Morata’s £60million arrival from Real Madrid smashed the transfer record for the Premier League champs – but Batshuayi will be waiting for his chance.
At the Bird’s Nest Stadium, the Belgium star scored twice and set up another for Willian as Antonio Conte’s side showed they mean business in their title defence.
Chelsea looked a yard sharper than Arsene Wenger’s lads right from the off – and it was no surprise that they cruised into their lead.
The only concern was an injury for Pedro that forced him off after colliding with David Ospina and Ainsley Niles-Maitland.
But apart from that it was a decent workout from the Premier League champions.
They had played a behind-closed-doors friendly against Fulham but this was their first game on tour but they looked quicker than Arsenal.
Willian opened the scoring when he collected the ball from Batshuayi and surged towards goal before finishing off the post.

Then Batshuayi doubled the lead when he cut inside and curled a beauty into the far post.
His second goal came after Marcos Alonso left Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on his backside on the flank.
He pulled it back for Batshuayi to thump home into the top corner past Ospina.

Olivier Giroud had not been named on the team-sheet and was not going to be allowed on by the ref as a sub.
But Wenger told him to get himself on and he made a different to Arsenal in the friendly, although could not prevent a first defeat of their tour.
